Open For Work Dilenma

Logic to understand that the "open for work" band on one's LinkedIn profile photo that they are open to being hinted at for new job offers.

However, some societies view it as something else!

When mentioning these societies, they are the Middle Eastern ones who still believe that being open to work is demeaning. They believe that only those who are in deep dire of money are the ones to post that they are open for work.

Many Egyptians on LinkedIn have expressed their suffering about this issue that they aren't offered a job as they are thought to be either in need of money or jobless and their current place or position is delusive.

For me, it's surprising to experience societies still hiring and giving huge salaries to those with strong images even if they don't have the skills or the passion to learn, work, and produce. The passionate ones are looked down upon throwing mere pittance at them as if they are slaves.

In brief, there is no respect for one's eagerness to learn, work,
and produce.

Believe it or not, what is being lectured and negotiated is the opposite of what's happening in practice. Lecturers and high-position holders will be found on stages yelling about the importance of learning new skills to widen their horizons. The community won't develop and prosper without the youths' production and openness to new innovations.

This nonsense blabbing is accompanied by low salaries or no money to give to trainees and new employees that doesn't only last for a month but for months and maybe a couple of years under the joking slogan "learn for experience" which doesn't really exist. What's there to obtain is a certificate that can be fabricated by AI tools.  That is really unbearable to carry on when many societies in the MENA region suffer from high rates of inflation resulting in soaring living expenses and still salaries didn't rise an inch. Not to mention, the EU has issued a law that trainees who did internships at any company should be rewarded with a monthly stipend as they aren't only learning, but also producing like a regular employee.

Another point to mention for firms operating in the Middle East, their capital is either in the Gulf currencies or dollars to ensure their continuous operation despite any economic disturbance these states might encounter. This means that they can give salaries in a foreign currency equivalent to societies' local currencies.

In the past, a good economy of land or society was outlined by trade and self-sufficiency to demonstrate prosperity for covering their basic needs.  The work would continue with no thought of depression unless a disaster hit such as wars, natural or droughts.

Now when there is a free market where everyone is free to work whatever they want to gain money to run their daily activities, they are still deprived of what is a simple human right one should obtain.

It's no longer bizarre to see homeless depressed youth who easily think of suicide rather than getting motivated to try as trial seems worthless for not earning them a coin.

Words for strengthening and bearing are now useless as they don't play a vital role practically that is the opposite of that.  Reality beats as circumstances grow tough.

It's not wrong and won't cost a firm an arm and leg if they provide a strong healthy working environment with good earnings even for trainees to boost their creativity and mentality for greater production. Life is full of ups and downs and new loops are always around to pop out for ongoing productivity.

People aren't slaves to tame them with worthless encouraging words when you (recruiters/high position holders) are squeezing others' guts out.
